This show was paralleled by the band’s appearance at Sheffield’s Sound City 1992 festival, which was essentially an alternative “indie” parade. Other band on the agenda included Ned’s Atomic Dustbin, Senseless Things and Suede, so The Prodigy, although not the exception, were certainly not the norm. The audience’s warm reception of the gig was showed that the band were beginnig to span several musial generes with ther increasing fan-base, and starting to turn the heads of the cynical and previously inconvinced.
