Review by Kubazz:
without useless intro, gig was amazing as always.
when audience heard intro everyone gone mad. it was in 6 or 7 row but then i was 10 or 11. guys came out and started their performance with ‘wake the fuck up’. not many people seemed to know this track but i was singing as loud as possible. later liam played breathe – it was killing me, LOTS of new sound, this sound of swords was almost unable to hear but sound quality was perfect. then ‘their law’ – i don’t remember much this song, i remember only when maxim said ‘i wanna see everybody jumpin’!’ and i was jumping ;). then spitfire – ‘it’s time to SPITFIRE!’ and one more time new sounds, a little bit edited beginning. ‘back 2 skool’ – i always liked this song but now i have to say it’s THE BEST!! maxim went off the stage and came close to me, i wanted to touch him but in fact i hit him – sorry for that maxim! 😳 later they hit us with firestarter – this time keith was looking ilke he was ill or injured. his voice wasn’t clear, he was only singing, not doing performance. action radar – no keith on vocals (only beginning) and new link between that and firestarer. warning – my favourite song, i wasn’t in katowice last year i thought i will never hear it live – but this night my dreams came true. one more time new intro (not like lowlands ’05 – played on guitar but played by liam on synthesator), a little bit edited lyrics (keith changed order of ‘bitches’, ‘hulstlers’ , and renegades’). new riffs by ‘the rev’. then ‘voodoo people’ with new beginning – elbarto claimes it was like ‘it’s my own secrect technique intro’ but i can’t check it now. this time rev spoiled this song, his riffs were sometimes irritating.
after little break maxim asked if we want little more – of coure we wanted.
it was time for poison – it was easy to see that people really love this song. liam played very long outro (about 2 min) to this song only with simple beat and maxim on vocals (i’ve got it recorded). later without any intro ‘blow ya mind’ hit us. maxim told ‘it’s gonna hit you like fuckin’ ten tons!’ and it hit me like fuckin’ ten tons. smack my bitch up – massive killer, i will never forget when everyone was singing this vocal of shanin badar – aaaaaAAAAaaaAAAAAAaAaAAAAA!!
and in the end came time for ‘out of space’. maxim didn’t have to ask us if we want a little more – he could see it in our eyes. as usual intro on drums, as usual good as hell, but liam fucked the ending, he stopped music like that: “i gonna send him ou… bzzzt, ok, great night, respect for everyone!” with no outro, it disappointed me a little.
and as real outro liam played the archies – ‘sugar sugar’ 😆
in general maxim was cool as always, keith was weak, liam played great and everyone can confirm that he really enjoyed the show, he was looking on crowd for a long time and smiling. new drummer and guitarist are ok but i liked rob and kieron more. and i have to tell that you can’t compare show with record, even if they are perfect quality.
